The line is available 365 days a year between the hours 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight. Social workers offer confidential support and guidance about alternatives to strengthen the family in its social role, reestablish self-control and prevent crisis situations that can affect the functioning of individuals and families, including: the prevention of child and elder abuse; discipline, the prevention and management of domestic violence situations; parent-child relationships; management of crises in the family such as divorce and the loss of loved ones; and the management of feelings of fear, courage and shame. The call is free and confidential.
