To file for a Protection from Abuse Order in Kansas, go to the District Court Clerk’s Office (civil court) in your county and ask for an application or “petition” for a “Protection From Abuse Order.”  Below are listed district courts by alphabetically by county.

At the courthouse, the clerk will provide you with the forms that you need to file. If you need assistance filling out the form, ask the clerk for help.
