To file for a protective order in Alaska, go to the clerk of court in either the Superior or District Court in your area. The Alaska courts are listed below.

Find the civil court clerk and ask for a petition for a Domestic Violence Protective Order. The civil court clerk will help you fill out the forms. You will also find links to online forms at our Download Court Forms page. You may also get help with the court system through one of the domestic violence organizations listed on our AK State and Local Programs page.
