Hawaii Disability Rights Center (HDRC) has authority to represent individuals in many types of cases, including abuse and neglect cases, when:
1. The individual has a disability, as defined in our CAP or P&A programs; and
2. The individual meets the eligibility criteria as defined in our CAP or P&A
3. The individual has a problem that has resulted from, or is related to the disability; and
4. The individual’s problem is within HDRC’s current Client Services priorities.
You can find their assistance application and more information about the kinds of cases HDRC will take on their website.
