The Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County, Inc. provides services to victims of family violence or sexual assault. RCC services include shelter, medical accompaniment, crisis intervention, advocacy, public education, protective order and/or divorce assistance, counseling, case management, career services, support groups, and youth services. RCC serves Galveston County.

Hill Country Community Needs Council (HCCNC) provides short-term assistance to low-income residents of Gillespie County. HCCNC provides on-going services, financial services, a list of resources, and special projects. The on-going services include information and referral, advocacy and support to victims of family violence, care calls, case management, counseling, financial assistance, food 4 kids, Help a Senior (HAS), Hill Country Recording for the Handicapped, medical transportation, and a parenting course. Financial assistance is provided for clients requesting emergency assistance for housing, utilities, child care, gasoline, and medical needs. Special projects happen seasonally. HCCNS serves Gillespie County.

Tralee Crisis Center provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crime survivors. Services include a 24-hour safe shelter, crisis intervention, accompaniment (law enforcement, medical, and criminal justice), emergency transport, assistance, and support. Tralee Crisis Center serves Carson, Childress, Collingsworth, Donley, Hemphill, Roberts, and Wheeler Counties.

Women’s Center of East Texas provides services to women who are victims of domestic violence and their children and victims of sexual assault. Services include emergency shelter, outreach support, legal support and advocacy, accompaniment (to medical exams, law enforcement, prosecutors and court), 24-hour crisis hotline, information and referrals, and community education. All services are also available in Spanish. Women’s Center of East Texas serves Gregg, Harrison, Rusk, and Upshur Counties.
