Berks Women in Crisis (BWIC) provides free emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault at our Center; free, confidential, counseling to community clients who are victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault; and attorneys who may be able to represent you free of charge at your Final Protection From Abuse (PFA) order, Sexual Violence Protection Order, or Protection from Intimidation Order hearing but not divorce, custody or other legal matters. The Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD) is the only non profit focused on providing legal services to those with physical disabilities in the Philadelphia area. We provide free legal services to low-income people with physical disabilities, and to the deaf and hard of hearing, in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties.
