Included in this list are shelters and local programs that provide support, counseling, safety planning, and other services to victims of abuse.  If you cannot get help from the organization nearest you, you might want to try calling one in a neighboring county. HI-Line’s Help for Abused Spouses (HLHAS) provides services to men and women who have been victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victim witnesses of crime. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, one-on-one advocacy, child advocacy, legal advocacy, victim witness services, educational trainings, safe homes and shelters (transportation provided), and information and referrals. HI-Line’s Help for Abused Spouses serves Pondera County.
