The mission of Safe Voices is to provide personalized advocacy for all survivors of domestic abuse and violence, sex trafficking, and sexual exploitation, and engage communities in social change to eliminate violence. Services provided include: a 24-hour helpline, a 17-bed emergency shelter, individual and group support, safety planning, family and housing services, referrals, court advocacy, transportation, education, and more. Safe Voices has a network of local community-based offices in each county served: Farmington (207) 778-6107, South Paris (207)743-5806, Rumford (207) 369-0750. Serving Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties.

Hope & Justice Project
The Hope & Justice Project, previously the Battered Women’s Project, helps those whose family and dating relationships are affected by abuse and violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, confidential emergency shelters, safety planning, legal advocacy, social service advocacy, support groups, education and more. Bilingual English-French advocates available and additional languages as needed. Advocates can meet survivors in their resource center in Presque Isle, in one of their outreach offices, or in a confidential location. Outreach offices are located in: Houlton (207) 532-4004, Madawaska (207) 728-3199, and Fort Kent (207) 834-7395. Serving Aroostook County.
Maliseet Domestic & Sexual Violence Advocacy Center
The Maliseet Advocacy Center is available to anyone affected by domestic violence and sexual violence, dating violence, stalking and sex trafficking. Its mission is to decrease domestic violence and sexual assault by providing services, information, training, and education to the community. Services include: 24-hour hotline, safety planning, emergency shelter, transitional housing, hospital accompaniment, court/legal advocacy, assistance in obtaining protection orders, legal assistance, support groups, training, and more.
